SAFETY MANUAL SECTION 4.1 A
• The Contractor shall assign a fulltime safety professional to
monitor the safety of their employees and Subcontractors under
the scope of work of the contract. If the manpower loading
exceeds 249 employees on the project, a second fulltime safety
professional shall be retained. If the project exceeds 750
employees, and Contractor will discuss the need for adding
additional safety personnel to ensure the safety expectations of
the ROCIP are fully met. When multiple shifts are involved the
Contractor will assign additional qualified safety professional
meeting the minimum qualification outlined below.
QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER (QC)
This project is required to have a full time QC Manager on site during all construction activates.
Specification Section 014510 1.3 A• An individual designated by the Contractor whose sole responsibility is Quality Control
Management. This individual shall be highly qualified in all phases of construction as it
relates to this Project and shall have the authority to direct work changes required to bring
the Work into conformance with Contract requirements, including stopping non-
conforming work in progress. A detailed resume of the proposed Quality Control Manager
including applicable education, experience and certifications shall be included in the Quality Control Plan.
Coordination With Operations
• All deliveries requiring the shut down of Taxiway AA will require an SDR 5 days prior to work.
• Delivery access window is from 22:00 to 05:00 (when an SDR is required).
• Personnel, small equipment and tool deliveries will be allowed through the AOB Gate and loading dock.
• Attendance of Weekly Operations Shutdown Coordination Meetings will be required
• Lift plans, haul routes and traffic plans will be submitted and approved before and deliveries will be scheduled.
• Primary delivery access gate will be G5.
STORAGE & WORK AREAS IN THE CUP
• There will be limited storage available in the CUP itself. • Storage and work areas will have to be changed with each phase of
work.• Access to exciting operating equipment must be maintained at all times. • Office Space is vey limited and will be assigned once contract has been
awarded. • No restrooms will be available in the CUP for contractor staff.
Contractor restrooms will be available in North Terminal or contractor can provide portable toilet.
