Culture of South-AmericaThe Cultures of South America draw on diverse cultural traditions. These include
the native cultures of the peoples that inhabited the continents prior to the arrival of
the Europeans. European cultures, brought Spanish, Portuguese, French, African
cultures and the United States, particularly via mass culture such as cinema and
TV.
Religion:
Three major religions: Christianity in general, Hinduism, and Islam. In lowland South
America, as well as the Andes, animism and shamanism are common, as noted
among the Urarina of Peruvian Amazonia.
Dress code: People don’t usually wear just a t-shirt when they go out.
Fanny packs; Generally dressing like a hippy. Very skimpy clothing; Cargo
pants. Flip-flops and sandals.

Lifestyles of South-AmericaSouth American culture is the combination of almost the half of the culture of this world. Family Families have close relationships. Traditionally the father is the family leader and the chief decision maker. Although now a more modern world, the mom is really the leader of the family. Carnivals play a huge part in religious and patriotic holidays.
Music
The most famous genres include samba from Brazil, tango from Argentina & Uruguay,
and cumbia from Colombia.
Sports
Celebration Soccer is the most popular sport in all of South America.
basketball, cycling, polo, volleyball, motorsports, rugby, handball, tennis, golf, field
hockey and boxing.
