1 day Arrival at the airport in the early morning. First stop at Bologna for a special experience:

cooking class with focus on the “Tortellini” the most traditional stuffed pasta! The “sfoglina” (the

queen of the kitchen) will share all of her secrets held in her pasta. In a couple of hours, you

will learn how to prepare the dough, following the traditional recipe, and you’ll be directly

involved in the laying of the dough, using a wooden “mattarello”. Lunch with the dishes you

have prepared. In the afternoon guided walking food & cultural tour to discover the most

important monuments (Piazza Maggiore, San Petronio cathedral, the 2 towers, etc) and also

the Food Quarter, where you will taste the best products of the region during some stops in

the little shop: mortadella & gnocco fritto, cold cuts and cheese, chocolate, Italian espresso!

Accommodation in hotel in Bologna.

2 day Guided walking food & cultural tour of Modena old city center and its the Unesco site

(Cathedral, Piazza Grande, the city hall, the Ghilrlandina tower, etc). During the visit you will

stop for delicious tastings: stop by Albinelli historical covered market of Modena with tasting of

regional cold cuts with the traditional "tigella" (small flat bread with different types of filling) and

Lambrusco wine, stop by an historical hand-made pasta shop with "take away tortellino" tasting

and finally the gelato tasting with Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena as topping! Free

time at disposal. Special experience: visit to an historical leather workshop where you'll also get

the opportunity to create your own "tortellino" keychain!

In the afternoon you can choose between a dedicated guided tour to an organic Parmigiano-

Reggiano dairy farm that hosts a wonderful private Maseratis vintage cars collection OR a

guided visit of a traditional “Acetaia” for the tasting + a private show cooking on the creation of

traditional and modern dishes made with balsamic vinegar. Overnight in Bologna.

3 day Guided cultural tour to the Byzantine mosaics UNESCO World Heritagesites: Basilica of

San Vitale, Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, Neonian Baptistery, Basilica of Sant’Apollinare Nuovo.

An interesting walk from the grave of Dante Alighieri (the world wide famous Father of Italian

language) to the places in the historical centre who saw Lord Byron’s loves.

Light lunch in the town centre.

In the afternoon special experience: mosaico class! You will make a copy of an ancient mosaic

from the Roman, Byzantine or Medieval period, cemented directly onto a substrate. You'll

participate in every phase of the creation of your piece, choosing beetween marble, glass

and/or gold tessere, depending on which design you have chosen to copy. The mosaic will be

made in a wooden frame 10 x 10 cm, ready to be hung on the walls of the house!

City Breaks Romagna

Art, ancient crafts and food experiences

1 day Arrival at the airport in the early morning. First stop in Mondaino, the last medieval hamlet on the

border between Romagna and Marche regions. Among the most interesting points , you reach the Jesuit Mill.

Here we find a local producer of DOP “Pit Cheese”, a special cheese aged since XIII century in caves. Tasting of

4 different kind of cheese. Stop for a lunch with traditional dishes in a typical restaurant or agriturismo.

In the afternoon special experience: mosaico class! You will make a copy of an ancient mosaic from the Roman

or Medieval period, cemented directly onto a substrate. You'll participate in every phase of the creation of your

piece, choosing between marble, glass and/or gold tessere, depending on which design you have chosen to

copy. The mosaic will be made in a wooden frame 10 x 10 cm, ready to be hung on the walls of the house!

Visit to the famous Castle of Gradara. Particularly striking is the view of the fortress and the underlying

historical village. Legend has it that the castle was the scene of the famous and tragic love story of Paolo and

Francesca, caught in each other’s arms and killed by Gianciotto, Francesca’s husband. This love story was

immortalized by Dante in his Divine Comedy. Accommodation in hotel.

2 day In the early morning transfer to a small town, Sant’Agata Feltria, to have next special experience: an

amazing truffle hunt in the woods with an expert truffle hunter and his faithful dog! He will teach you all

about the precious tuber. Visit of the medieval village and rich tasting of truffle for lunch by a local restaurant.

Transfer to the UNESCO World Heritage, San Marino and Monte Titano. Guided cultural tour of the medieval

hilltop town from S. Francis Arch, through the medieval lanes, till the Crossbow's amphitheater and the

Cathedral of the Saint Marino, on the top of the old center, till the three towers that rise imposing symbol of

this ancient city-state that has always defended its freedom and independence. San Marino is a must-see for

“shopping addicts” of all kinds, this is also due to a lighter lever tax: make purchases in San Marino may be

cheaper than in Italy. He most wanted “products” for those who come across the border are clothing,

footwear, perfumes and cosmetics, electronics, musical instruments. Time at disposal for shopping! Time for a

beer tasting. Overnight in hotel.

3 day Guided walking food & cultural tour of Rimini old city center, a walk to discover the wonders of the

city: the Arch of Augustus, the Malatesta Temple, the Church of St. Augustine with the frescoes of Giotto, the

Old Fish market, built in the eighteenth century, and the historic Galli Theater. The visit then continues with

the Domus del Chirurgo, with its 150 surgical instruments kept inside the City Museum and a walk on the

bimillenial Tiberius Bridge, proof of the admirable Roman civil architecture. During the visit you will taste the

best products of this region during some stops in the little shop: Spianata with mortadella, piadina wit fish cold

cuts & filled cassoni, Fried fish take away, Italian espresso!

Departure to Santarcangelo, a small medieval town with a charming atmosphere. Visit of the city centre, from

the Triumphal Arch to the ancient Malatesta Fortress.

Stop in a historical and renowned winery, walk in the vineyard, visit to the cellars and wine tasting with typical

products. Transfer to the airport for the departure.

Today you’ll experience the sentence “from farm to fork”: in the familiar atmosphere of a nice Agriturismo,

you’ll start from picking vegetables from fields and you’ll end in the kitchen with the Grandma preparing

It’s possible to add in the afternoon a visit + tasting to a tiny village where the “Formaggio di Fossa” (pit

cheese) is still produced as in the middle age.

3 day

An expert Chef is waiting for you in his renowned restaurant to cook together and to teach you some of his

In the morning visit to the wonderfull PAGANI factory & Museum, an exclusive collection

In the afternoon visit to another world-famous factory: LAMBORGHINI. An exclusive Tour

Guided visit of the historical centre of Ravenna, UNESCO’s heritage, with the entrance to Byzantine Mosaics

included. Light lunch in the town centre. In the afternoon transfer to Cervia where the charm of canals is linked

to the trade of "white gold" (salt). Visit of the little city centre with the MUSA – (Museum of salt and salt

Civilization), the suggestive fountain The Suspended Carpet, the Old Fish Market and of the eighteenth-century

Town Theater. Overnight in hotel.

5 day

Transfer to Bertinoro, visit along the charming panoramic road of the Grape Harvest to in Piazza della Libertà,

the Column of Hospitality and the Chatedral. Visit of a historical wine cellar, visit of the building and the ancient

cellars. Stop in Forlimpopoli and visit to Casa Artusi: the very first centre of gastronomic culture. Library,

restaurant, cookery school, wine cellar, bookshop, museum and location for events: is a living museum to home

cookery. In the afternoon visit to a DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil producer, in Brisighella are, for a special EVO Oil

tasting.

6 day

On the way to the airport visit at the Gelato Museum with a rich and delicious ice cream tasting.

Art & Gourmet Tour

3 day Visit of Modena. the first stop is at Pavarotti House Museum listening to the music of our famous opera singer.

Then guided visit of the historical centre of Modena, with the UNESCO romanesque cathedral. Lunch in a

farmhouse on the way to Maranello. In the afternoon visit to Ferrari Museum, following the dream of Enzo Ferrari!

Before coming back to the hotel, stop at a traditional Acetaia, for a DOP Balsamic vinegar tasting.

4 day Early morning departure to reach Parma and see the daily production of DOP Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.

After the visit and final tasting, transfer to the historical centre. Guided visit of Parma, its center boasts a delightful

Romanesque Design. Focus inside the Cathedral with Correggio and Parmigianino masterpieces. Lunch in the

centre with Parma Ham and Parmigiano tasting combined with other typical recipes.

5 day Transfer to Ferrara, where the brilliant Este court attracted a constellation of artists, poets and philosophers

during the Renaissance age. That’s why it is now part of the UNESCO’s heritage. The tour starts with the

Renaissance Herculean addition, the inner courtyard of Palazzo dei Diamanti, Piazza Castello, the Cathedral, the old

Medieval streets and the jewish Ghetto. Lunch in the centre with typical menu. Return to the hotel and overnight.

6 day In the morning visit of Ravenna, UNESCO’s heritage for the Byzantine Mosaics (visit of San Vitale, Galla

Placidia and S. Apollinare Nuovo). Light lunch in the historical centre. In the afternoon visit of Cervia, where is

produced the renowned Salt of the Popes. Transfer to the coast and accommodation to Hotel 4* in the region

Rimini.

7 day Breakfast. Today visit of the most ancient Republic in the world: San Marino, a foreign little state inside Italy!

Guided visit of the historical centre with an original electric train. Stop in the centre for your shopping tax free. In the

afternoon transfer to San Leo, a famous medieval village, renowned to have been the prison of Cagliostro Count

8 day Breakfast. On the way to the airport stop in Santarcangelo di Romagna, hometown of our Sangiovese wine

to an ancient winery producing wine and balsamic vinegar in Reggio Emilia area. Visit to the cellars

The tour continues to the South part of the region to present you 2 exciting wines: Barbarossa and

Albana. Stop in Bertinoro for the visit to an ancient winery with 10 recognized Crus inserted in the

historic vineyards of Emilia Romagna, 27 biotypes of Sangiovese grown, and an exclusive grape

variety that has marked the history of Romagna wines: Barbarossa! Walk in the vineyard, visit to the

cellars and lunch wine with tasting.

In the afternoon transfer and visit to a magnificent biodynamic estate in where vines grow

accompanied by classical music, where works of art are positioned in perfect harmony with the

natural landscape, and the grapes rest in artistic barrels where Gregorian chants resound in an

Last but not least: the best white wines of Romagna. Today you will taste Trebbiano, Pagadebit and

Rebola. In the morning visit to an award-winning winery: visit to the vineyard, the cellar and tasting of

5 wines, included the best Rebola ever! Transfer to Santarcangelo di Romagna, stop for a walk and a

short guided visit in the small and pretty historic center. Then visit to one of the oldest wineries in the

area. Transfer to the airport and departure.

1 day Arrival at the airport in the morning. First stop in Bologna to visit the famous historical centre and

enjoy a local “must”: the Aperitif in the “Food Market” with Lambrusco, Mortadella and handmade Tortellini.

2 day Visit to a special Acetaia and tasting of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar. Visit of the historical centre of

Modena, with its UNESCO Heritage, and traditional lunch in “Trattoria” with tigelle and selection of cold

cuts. It’s possible to add in the afternoon: Ferrari Museum in Maranello or Hombre Cheese Dairy or Panini

Museum with its beautiful collection of 19 vintage Maserati Cars).

3 day Early morning visit to a “Parmigiano Reggiano” factory, the king of cheese. You will see all the

different stages in the production line, where 20,000 wheels of cheese age for not less than 24 months.

Then it follows a visit to a “Prosciutto di Parma” factory, ham worldwide recognized, and final lunch with

rich tasting of Parmigiano and Prosciutto with more local goods. It’s possible to add the visit of Torrechiara

castle, or to the lands of “Giuseppe Verdi” or to the production of Culatello in the town of Zibello.

4 day Driving south of Bologna we’ll stop in Forlimpopoli to visit one of the most important centre of Italian

gastronomy “Casa Artusi”. Pellegrino Artusi is considered the Father of the Italian Traditional Cuisine and his

book for the Italians is the Bible of Cooking. The lunch will be served in the restaurant and you will taste

original recipes from the book. In the afternoon stop in Forlì area to visit a renown wine cellar followed by a

tasting of Sangiovese wine.

5 day Visit of Ravenna and its beautiful mosaics UNESCO Heritage. Transfer for lunch to Cesenatico, a nice

harbor designed by Leonardo da Vinci with a typical seafood menu. In the afternoon visit to the roman

historical centre of the old Rimini. Aperitif at the famous street food kiosk of “Piadina Romagnola” with a

tasting of different piadina stuffed with local products. Accommodation at the country Resort in Forlì or

Rimini area.

6 day In the early morning transfer to a small town, Sant’Agata Feltria, the land of Truffle for the visit of the

medieval village and to meet a local truffle hunter who will teach you about the precious tuber. Rich tasting

of truffle by local workshop. Then transfer to Mondaino a tiny village where the “Formaggio di Fossa” (pit

cheese) is still produced as in the middle age (with final tasting) and we’ll transfer to visit a DOP Extra Virgin
