This historical genre encompasses a wide range of styles and approaches; its these artists’ sentient rela-tionship to materials that connects the Abstract Expressionists. We will not copy masterworks in this class, but instead will use and combine their techniques to make original images, embodying the experimen-tal spirit of the movement.
