P uede ser que el templo se vea co-mo un templo Ca-

tólico o que tienen allí una imagen de la Vir-gen de Guadalupe o de otros Santos Católicos. También puede ser que el pastor se viste como sacerdote y que allí dan ‘Misas’. Nada de esto garantiza que son Católicos verdaderos en comunión con el Papa Francisco.

Tristemente, hay un numero creciente de sectas nuevas que insisten que son 'Católicas' pero rechazan la autoridad del Papa y las demás doctrinas Católicas. Confunden a la gente no instruida que va en busca de los Sacramentos de la Iglesia.

¡Cuidado con aquellas sectas! Y dese cuenta: un Ca-tólico debe asistir a Misa y recibir los Sacramentos so-lamente en una parroquia ‘registrada’ con la Iglesia Católica, Apostólica y Romana. We had a very good turnout to the first session as we commenced the study of the Gospel of St. Luke led by Brian Newberry (M.A. Theological and Biblical Studies). Brian was a former Protestant for 20 years, and a seminarian, before revert-ing to the Catholic Church in 2014. He lives in Long Beach with his wife, son, and daughter.

W ednesday, April 3, Holy Innocents will be host-ing an EVENING OF RECOLLECTION

(EOR) for WOMEN at 7:00 PM. Father Paul Donlan (a priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei) will be preach-

ing. The EOR will also include Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Solemn Benediction at the con-

clusion. Throughout the evening the opportunity for Confession will be available to those who desire it.

The Evening of Recollection is a kind of mini-retreat which will be held every First Wednesday of the month

at 7:00 PM. All women are cordially invited. Lent is right around the corner. What better way to begin this

LATIN MASS TRAINING FOR BOYS

M r. Raybuck, our School's Latin

teacher, will begin train-ing classes for boys who are interested in learning how to serve the tradi-tional

(Tridentine) Latin Mass.

Sessions will be on Sun-days, after the 10:00 AM Mass, in the "green" room of the rectory, from 11:30 AM till noon.

E very Friday during Lent, we gather in the church to pray the Stations of the

Cross at 7:15pm (following the 6:30pm Mass). The priest will be available for Con-fession after the Stations.
