• • The imports in Cuba are food, petroleum, chemicals,

equipment, and machinery. The exports are tobacco,

sugar, coffee, nickel, citrus fruit and fish. Transportation in

Cuba is the same as in the United States. They use cars,

bikes, buses, trains and airplanes. They communicate

using Spanish as their official language. They also speak

English in some parts. One fad in Cuba is the Castro Cap

after the hat their leader wears. The fashion is casual,

summer clothes because it is warm in Cuba.

Native Cubans take customs VERY seriously. Instead of small parties for b-days, it’s a whole festival! Most of the religions in Cuba is Catholic, but there is also a variety of African religions too. The main language is Spanish in Cuba.

Human Environment Interaction

By: Emily, Nick, & Edward• Human Environment Interaction is how the word

affects us and how we affect the world. Environment in Cuba is mountain, beach, and flat elsewhere. Humans in Cuba have adapted to the environment by using rivers to fish and get water. Humans modified the Cuban environment by building dams out of mud to store water. Cubans depend on the environment by getting the medicine out of plants to cure people. Effects of changes in the environment are the moving of the meadow animals.
