FFA News/Announcements The next FFA meeting is Thursday November 9th. This will be our thanksgiving meeting with food! Please stop by B6 and sign up to bring a food item. Operation Christmas Child boxes are due November 13th. 2 boxes = 1 hour of community service FFA Fruit and Nut fundraiser orders and money are due to Mrs. Forbes in B-6 by November 20th. FFA T-shirt & Sweatshirt orders are due November 20th. The last day to join FFA is November 30th. The cost to join is $10. FFA is doing a canned food drive until December 8th. Students with the most cans will attend the Christmas Social December 8th. 15 cans = 30 minutes of community service

AR Incentive

On November 3, 2017 the language arts department and media coordinator will host an AR Incentive party. To partici-

pate, students must pass one fiction test, one nonfiction test and one AR nonfiction add -on project with a 70 or above.

The students will participate in a Just Dance contest and enjoy ice cream at a sundae bar. We look forward to many fun

AR incentives throughout the year.

AR deadlines

October 27th- AR deadline #1 Incentive Party Dates- Nov. 3rd

Jan. 12th- AR deadline #2 Possible Incentive Party Date - January 19th

March 23rd- AR deadline #3 Possible Incentive Party Date- March 29th

May 11th- AR deadline #4 End of the Year Bash- approved for 5/17

Pop- Up candy treats will be awarded each midterm.
