Autoban is an Istanbul based design studio, developing product design, architecture and interior projects, established in 2003 by Seyhan Ozdemir and Sefer Caglar.

Currently Autoban has collaborated with CTO Lighting to produce a selection of lights for the new 2016 collection; the Hoxton and Capsule wall lights. Autoban says:

“The lighting product series explores basic design methods by structuring its archetype around layered, shell-like units, revealing a library of optical interpretations” - Autoban January 2016

Working on local and international, from small to large scale projects, Autoban’s approach is formed by the main principles of modern architecture’s terminology; concentrating on progressive design resolutions with an experimental standpoint. Autoban state they offer an experience where spaces are not made but discovered.

Autoban have designed over 300 various projects, starting with cafés and restaurants to working on retail stores, hotels and private residents. In 2006 Autoban opened its first gallery launching their interior product range. Since 2012 Autoban’s products have been sold worldwide and manufactured by De La Espada.

Introduction to CTO Lighting

CTO Lighting is a leading contemporary lighting company which supply the most prestigious interior designers internationally. It has been designing and manufacturing lights for over 15 years selling them only to high end interior designers. We have a bespoke department as well as stock ranges. Its recent designs have illuminated the grand interiors of the newly refurbished St Pancras Hotel and our clients include Kit Kemp, Philippe Starck and Martin Brudnizki amongst others.

The CTO brand is synonymous with quality and design and the current ranges are inspired by both natural and historic elements such as post war French and Italian design. The CTO range focuses on products which use high end materials such as bronze, brass, walnut and crystal. We manufacture in low production runs and our lights are all handmade by skilled artisans. We have a factory in Birmingham, England which allows us to control our excellent quality and short delivery times.

Made in EnglandCTO Lighting manufacture and assemble in England using only the finest materials and craftsmen. These craftsmen produce batches of our lights allowing us to retain our sought after quality and lead times.
