Be a Bunny ArtistTest your family’s artistic skills by drawing an Easter Bunny

from beginning to end.

Pom Pom Bunnies

How to make them...1. Paint the polystyrene balls one at a time

with glue and cover with cotton wool.

2. Once both of the polystyrene balls are covered with cotton wool attach the body to the head with PVA glue.

3. Glue extra cotton wool for legs and a tail.

4. Cut out ears, a nose and eyes using the coloured felt and attach to the bunny using PVA glue. Leave to dry.

Work together to make some friends with this Pom Pom Bunnies kit

What you’ll need:2 Polystyrene balls per bunny

Cotton wool

Coloured felt

PVA glue

Equipment:Paintbrushes

Scissors

Pom Pom Bunnies

Outdoor Fun

Bunny, Bunny, Chick

How to play:1. Everyone needs to sit in a circle

except one person who will be the first ‘egg’.

2. The egg walks around the circle, tapping everyone in turn on the head, calling each player bunny until picking one player to be ‘chick’.

3. The chick must then jump up as fast as they can, and chase the egg around the circle.

4. The egg must get back to the chick’s spot and sit down without being caught. If the egg makes it to that spot, the chick becomes the egg and the game begins again.

5. If the chick does catch the egg, the egg stays the same and another round begins.

Play as a group, indoors or outdoors.

Muddy Bunnies

How to play:1. Select one person to be Mr Mud. This person will try to tag or

‘stick’ all the other bunnies.

2. Everyone else needs to spread out in the allocated space and get as far away from Mr Mud as possible!

3. If you are tagged by Mr Mud, you have to hop on one leg with your arms out to the sides – you are a bunny stuck in the mud!

4. Free bunnies have to help their stuck bunny friends become unstuck by swooping under their arm to free them.

5. When there is only one free bunny left, they become Mr Mud, and the game starts again.

Hop and Jump Rope

How to play: The rope turners shout out commands of what the skippers need to do. The hoppers need to try and hop to the commands. If your hopping legs get stuck, you become a rope turner. Here are some bunny hops to choose from:

• Bunny Bounce: Jump as high as you can.

• Bunny Egg: Stay as low to the ground as you can.

• Bunny Dance: Do some fancy footwork while the rope turners spin at a consistent beat.
