Stevenson Screen

The Stevenson Screen, designed to hold Thermometers and Hygrome-

ters.

The purpose of a meteorological screen is to shield instruments from

precipitation and direct radiation whilst allowing air to circulate freely

around them. The screen therefore creates, an environment which is

closely matched to the outside air temperature.

For use in the worlds most demanding climatic zones, from the heat of

the tropics to the severe polar regions.

Used in marine environments worldwide by Muir Matheson and tested

and approved by UK Met Office
