Safety

The safety of our employees and of those working around us is our high-est priority. Regular safety meetings and safety training programs for all levels of the organization allow us to communicate consistently the im-portance of working safely every day. All CSS employees are required to wear hard, and safety glasses on all project sites. Our strict policies and procedures regarding permit required confined spaces, lock-out/tag-out, hot work and opening process systems have completely prevented inci-dent during such activities. Constant training, careful project planning, aggressive project safety management, along with creative programs for reward and reprimand have positioned our organization a front run-ner in our industry.

Contractor Client Arrangements

CSS is a company that is flexible in seeking alternatives to adjust to the clients needs when contractor / client arrangement issues are taken into account. This attitude and operational mode exists throughout CSS team and support groups and as such, we offer “stand-alone” mainte-nance and turnaround services to our clients with minimum owner input responsibility.

Project functions performed by CSS on-site Office Team include:

-Safety – Development of specific criteria, inspection, reporting, train-ing and first aid. -Quality Control – Program development, shop inspection, welding pro-cedure and welder qualification, code compliance and inspection. -Project Controls – Preparation of work order criteria, schedule initia-tion, manpower and resource allocation. Includes scheduling Owner’s efforts required during turnarounds. -Cost Control – Estimating, cost reporting and distribution by work or-der, full progress reporting and productivity measurement. -Personnel Recruitment and Hiring – Full employments services, con-trolled substance screening, short term staffing of projects with em-ployees having tenure with CSS. -Subcontract – Bid solicitation, contracting and administration. -System Coordination – Complete installation, checkouts, turnover and start-up by process systems. -Engineering – Management, need dates, progress monitoring, and constructability reviews.
