CSE 250Spring 2009
Can use either Eclipse plugin or web interface
For Eclipse, make sure all the files you want to submit are in the same project
For web interface, create your zip file before you go to the website – you can only submit one file through the web interface
If you are working on campus on the CSE servers, the Web-CAT plugin for Eclipse has been installed. If you select a project and right click on the project name, there will be an option to submit the project. You can select that.
Follow instructions for install here: http://web-cat.cs.vt.edu/eclipse/ Then you will be able to right-click on
a project and submit
There’s always a catch…
Go to: Window->Preferences (This pulls up a "Preferences" dialog)• Select: "Electronic Submission" on the left of
the dialog. • On the right, enter:
Assignment definition URL: http://web-cat.cse.buffalo.edu:8180/Web-CAT/WebObjects/Web-CAT.woa/wa/assignments/eclipse
Default username: <your UBIT name> The rest can be left blank (no e-mail info
needed).
You need to make sure you select which assignment you are submitting to.
There is sometimes more than one dialog box you need to click “OK” in to ensure that your submission is successful.
You can check to make sure your submission went through:
http://web-cat.cse.buffalo.edu:8180/Web-CAT/WebObjects/Web-CAT.woa
Go to: http://web-
cat.cse.buffalo.edu:8180/Web-CAT/WebObjects/Web-CAT.woa
Login using UBIT name and password sent to you in email.
Select Submit tab and then select the course and assignment you are submitting to – browse for your file and click Upload.
