The system consists of two Dellner SKP 4x120-138 spring applied, hydraulically released disc brakes which operate on a 1,940 mm (76.4 in) diameter disc and provide 236 kNm (2,089,000 lbf-in) of torque with 155 bar (2,250 psi) release pressure. We also supplied emergency / parking brakes for the hoisting winch drives which hold the walkway between the dock and the catamaran ferry. Here, two Dellner SKP 2x120-47 spring applied, hydraulically released disc brakes operate on a 1,000 mm (39.4 in) diameter disc and provide 56 kNm (495,600 lbf-in) of torque with 115 bar (1,670 psi) release pressure.
