Cruise agents hang ten on therevitalised Voyager of the Seas
AUSTRALIAwelcomed some of the worlds most innova ve cruiseship features yesterday as Royal Caribbean Interna onal showcased theWOW factor of its new look Voyager of the Seas .
Hundreds of excited agents boarded the 3,400-passenger vessel forone night at sea aboard the ship, to test out the facili es, features and
improvements installed in a ve-week, US$80m makeover in Singapore.Crowds quickly rushed to the showpiece a rac on - a FlowRider sur ng simulator -
which provided plenty of entertaining wipeouts.A er trying it out for themselves, onlookers were then blown away as interna onalFlowboarding superstar and RCI ambassador Adam Wildman demonstrated the skillswhich have taken him to sit among the worlds elite par cipants of the exci ng sport.
A special demonstra on ice-ska ng performance also starred in the a ernoonsschedule, with the ships resident professional skaters impressing with their skills,prior to a rousing performance by X-Factor contestant Nathaniel Willemse.
Later, agents dressed for dinner and weretreated to the ships new dining op onsincluding Giovannis Table (Italian), IzumiJapanese Cuisine and Chops Grille steakhouse.
A er dinner, it was me to enjoy the eveningac vi es, which kicked o with an up-close-and-
personal reworks display on Sydney Harbour.Movies were available to view at the 3Dcinema, skaters hit the ice-ska ng rink whileothers opted to hit the nightclubs dance oor.
Voyager of the Seas will tonight kick o the restof its four-month season in Australia, depar ngnext on an 11-night sailing to New Zealand.
