Before we start, might I suggest you buy a second diary, because our upcoming calendar of events in the hotel and on the island is so packed, you’re going to need one!

There’s the return of Formula 1, the arrival of the very worthy month of Movember, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year and lots more. Not least of which is Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi Yas Island’s sixth birthday and the UAE’s 44th birthday!

Keeping with tradition, we will also be keeping busy in the kitchen preparing our legendary Festive take-away offerings, with everything from roasted stuffed turkeys to steaming mince pies. See inside for the complete menu and how to order.

All in all, November and December look like bumper months and I look forward to catching up with old friends and new over the festive period.
