Assessment
Site DescriptionThe existing bridge and footbridge will be raised by approximately 300mm. The work will require a substantial number of weekday and weekend track possessions. Temporary worksites are identified within the Network Rail site to the north of the bridge and in a area adjacent to Salt Hill Pleasure Grounds to the south.
Lighting SchemeThe Construction Planning Report states that:“….Night time working will require additional task lighting over and above that provided by street lighting. This will be provided by local tower/tripod lighting sets with power from smaller or self-contained petrol diesel generator sets. No change in the existing level of light pollution is envisaged.”
Construction Design Proposals: Scheme description + Site Diagram
Site DescriptionThe site reverts to the baseline condition.
Lighting SchemeNo details of any permanent lighting to either bridge available at the time of daytime scoping survey 05.10.2004.
