From the Principal __________________________

Dear Parents and Friends of Crossmaglen Public School,

Three-way Interviews

This week, the teachers will conduct three way conferences via Zoom. This is an ideal

opportunity to work together and share information to improve learning and achievement. We

encourage our parents to ask questions, express ideas and help make plans to support your

child’s learning at home. The teacher will support this meeting by clarifying, elaborating and

responding to specific questions and concerns.

BeesWax Workshop

This Tuesday, Year 2- 6 will participate in a beeswax workshop. This is to celebrate our

involvement in the Lunch Box Leftovers campaign from MidWaste.

Insect Workshop

On Thursday, the whole school will participate in a Super Insects workshop with Jo

Cunningham, an Environmental Educator from Cascade.

Newsletter

Thank you to our families who have responded to the Newsletter survey. Please continue to

send in your responses. We will share the results next week.

Athletics Carnival

Due to the current circumstances, we are unable to hold the usual Athletic Carnival. So

instead, Crossmaglen will hold a mini games carnival on Friday 25th September commencing at

2pm.

Healthy Harold

Last Wednesday, we had a special visit from Healthy Harold. For the first time in

Crossmaglen history, the Van visited the school. In the past the students would join with

Raleigh or Bonville schools.
