Introduction:- Nature Of culture
Culture is understood as the customs, beliefs, norms andvalues that guide the behavior of the people in a society andthat are passed on from one generation to the next.
Three elements:
1. Culture has normative value. It prescribes dos and donts.
2. Culture is a group phenomenon. Culture applies to the members ofa society.
3. Culture practices are passed on from generation to generation.
