This is a beautiful representation and it is a wonderful sight to see old glory waving all over town. The Lions club puts Crosbyton Lions are now reserving Flags for Holidays the flags out and then takes them up that afternoon. Right now there are over 70 flags reserved for this year. Ralls Mascot “Ricochet” received a check from Texas Tech Credit Union On Friday night, the Ralls Mascot “Ricochet” received a $1000 check from Texas Tech Credit Union CFO Monty Long, Sr. Director Brian Jackson, and Business Development Director Tyler Young. Texas Tech Credit Union is a proud sup- porter of Ralls ISD and was honored to attend the event. As an education-focused financial institution, the Credit Union frequently gives back to local school districts to show their support of students, teachers, and administrators. This year, TTCU has committed to support mascot programs across West Texas and will be donating $1000 to 26 schools in our area. Thanks to TTCU for coming out to Ralls and presenting us with this generous donation! Crosby Co. Tax Assessor, Anna Rodriguez retires Anna Rodriguez retired as the Crosby County Tax Assessor after 41 years. The county gave her a retirement party on December 29th. Michele Cook has taken her place as the new Tax Assessor. The Crosby County News contacted every available source in Crosby County where you might be able to get a Covid-19 vaccination and all sources were out of the vaccine. The Crosby County Hospital and Pharmacy informed the News that they may have some available in one to two weeks. Regional Pharmacy is also waiting on vaccines’ and you can get on their list to get the shot as soon as it is available. We searched and your best bet to be able to get the vaccine is to contact any and every pharmacy in Lubbock or surround- ing area and also contact your doctor or his nurse if you have a physician in Lubbock. The Health De- partment in Lubbock also gives the vaccines when available but you must call and make an appointment. Covenant Hospital has a Covid-19 Vaccines’ not available in Crosby County at this time pharmacy along with UMC and this may be a place to call and possible they can get you in for the vaccine. All pharmacies in Lubbock receive some vaccines and if you are one of their cus- tomers you should be able to get the vaccine if it is available. CVS, Walgreens’, United and every pharmacy in Lubbock probably even Walmart. There are numerous Health Clinics in Lubbock and anyone of them may be able to help you or give you information or help you get an appointment. Remember this, they are not going to hunt you down to get you the vaccination and most of them will go to the big cities. The bearing that makes all the noise will get the grease so make calls and noise and you will be able to find somewhere to get the vaccination if you want it. Rodriguez retires after 41 years of Service to Crosby County Beginning her career on June 12, 1979, Anna Rodri- guez worked as a Deputy Clerk at the Crosby County Tax Assessor’s Office. She worked under Buran House. She continued in this posi- tion for 17 years. Anna was elected to serve as Tax Assessor by the citizens of Crosby County in 1996. For 41 years, Anna Ro- driguez has served the citi- zens of Crosby County with respect for others, integrity for the office and an excep- tional work ethic. Anna officially retired on December 31, 2020. She will be missed by all at the courthouse as well as the citizens of Crosby County.
