3 DELIGHTFUL YEARS…
Three long years have passed since the launchof RE/MAX Metro and today I would like tolook back and thank my Business Associates,Admin staff, family (especially my parents,my wife and my daughter), friends, clientsand all well wishers who contributed inmaking this journey worthwhile and more.
AN INTEREST IN CRICKET…The journey began…
The journey beganwhen I was a merelad of 10 and acricket enthusiast.
Initial summertraining classeswere prolonged toregular sessions bymy coach owing tomy prowess in thegame.
TRAINING…
MY COACH PUSHED ME…
My coach pushed me to work hard
And then came a day when I was selected in the school team.
THE DAY CAME…
The hardwork wasfurtherrewardedwhen I wasselected inthe statecricketteam.
REWARDS OF HARD WORK…
CRICKET GLORY…
Soon I wasappointed asthe Captainof Under 16category andthen theUnder 19categoryteam.

My successstory went onwith a chanceto representGujarat inRanji OneDay which Iwas able tomaintain for9 long years.
UK SPELL…
I was recommended byMr. Chetan Mankad toone Club in UK calledBillesdon to play for themin Leicestershire PremierLeague in 2001. I played 9years of my cricket in UKfor Billesdon CC andLoughborough Town CC.

SUCCESS HIATUS…
In the year 2007, mysuccess story in crickettook a setback when I hadto undergo arthroscopicsurgery after an injuryduring fielding.
A PARTNER FOR LIFE…
I got married to Vinita, my partner through thickand thin, in 2007.
I played for two more years in UK but could not continue like before.
TWO MORE YEARS…
I never made a full come back after that.
NEVER LIKE BEFORE…
THE RE/MAX IDEA…
It was in UK that Igot to know thatRE/MAX, theworld’s famous &largest real estatebroking companyis going to startoffices in India. Iwas interested!

I met Manan and Aashilto find out more aboutthe RE/MAX franchise.Initial inhibitions werewhether a sportsmanlike me would be ableto manage a realestate franchise ?

CRICKET TO RE/MAX…
I decided to quit cricket which had been a part of my lifefor 20 years, and start a RE/MAX franchise. Thus beginsthe story of RE/MAX Metro when on 1st August 2010,the first office was opened by me.
RE/MAX METRO HUMBLE BEGINNINGFrom scratch…
I began my office with only three agents and graduallylearnt the business from scratch. I did a lot of learningand research in order to understand the real estateworld.
RE/MAX METRO GROWS…
Slowly but steadily, RE/MAX Metro started growing,initially with references from friends and family andthen from clients, from advertisements and agents.

More agents joined and today we have 14 agents working for RE/MAX Metro and we are all set to grow further.
RE/MAX SAFETY…
Being a part of the RE/MAX group has been a kind ofsafety net for us. RE/MAX started to grow eventually to12 offices in Ahmedabad (as on 1st August 2013 ) and100 agents which is the biggest real estate brokingcompany in Ahmedabad.

During the RE/MAX India Goa Convention 2013, our teamwas awarded the second best franchise in India and Iwon the Top Recruiter award for year 2012-2013 and myagents were recognized as best agents.

Not only in real estate broking, the RE/MAX trainingsessions made me tech savvy and helped me to takemature decisions.
I learnt how to reduce running expenditure and increase the income by implementing the right things.

DISCIPLINE AND DEDICATION…
But hard work and dedicationcan make any job easy. Thediscipline that I had learnt wayback during the game came inhandy to make me do well in abusiness I had no clue about.Competition brings out the bestin the person, be it cricket orbusiness.
