GENERAL NOTES

Situation Wakebridge Farm lies approximately 1 ½ miles from Crich and has easy access from Crich Village and also the main A6 and Matlock/Derby road. From the Centre of Crich head towards Alfreton on the B5035 and at the Stone Memorial bear off left (signed Tramway Museum and Holloway). Go past St Mary’s Church on the right and after ½ mile turn left on the wide sweeping crossroads (again towards Holloway and the Tramway Museum) onto Lea Road. Pass the Tramway Museum on the right and travel down the bank for approximately 1 mile with the farm lying on the right. From the A6 at Cromford traffic lights pick up Mill Lane signed Cromford Mills, Lea and Holloway. Travel past Cromford Mills and over the River Derwent and take the Lea road for 1 ½ miles into Lea Bridge Village. Travel up Mill Lane signposted Crich and Holloway through the centre of Holloway with Wakebridge Farm lying on the left ½ a mile out of Holloway Village.

‘To the Sale’ and ‘Car Park’ signs will be erected on the morning of the sale.

VAT on Export Goods – Under regulations imposed by HM Customs & Excise, the auctioneers must account in a proper manner for VAT on export goods. Therefore, any customers who have no trading pattern record with the auctioneers must pay all VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums.

There is a wide range of sundries and effects together with implements and machinery and also the John Deere and New Holland Tractors. Various local vendors have included sundry vendor items and buyers should attend this interesting Saturday sale.
