SYNOPSISLion and Bird walk through a Berlin residential area. Rumors say, one of the villas has been uninhabited for years, but there is still light burning in the house. Curiosity drives lion heading in, bird follows hesitantly.

In the foyer they encounter a group of light creatures. Light creatures take care in the villa, so everything is spotless and works out just fine. The lion wants to take a further look, the bird really gets scared now and leaves the house.

A maid without a mask calls him out of the bush. She wants to put on his animal mask to look like the master of the house. Thus she can give the light creatures commands, and hopefully finally escape. The bird learns from her what is really going in the villa. The master of the house enslaves intruders by letting them dance to his piano music. Once they are completely exhausted, he steals their animal masks, so they cannot escape anymore: Then they have to work up until the end of their days for him.

After his first dance to the music the bird is completely dazed and starts to understand. The maid has somehow been able to resist - she has not become a light creature and may have found a way to escape this way. The maid lets the light creatures build a totem tower, probably the master hides the animal masks there.

On a couch and dancing ecstatically to the music of the master, both go up and into the tower. Inside it’s finally quiet. And they finally find the Antelope mask of the maid.

The maid leaves the bird behind, the bird wants to save his friend. He almost succumbs to the lure of music drug, it creates, but then with his shrill bird tones the magic of the huge apparatus breaks in that holds tower and music together. The tower collapses, finally ending the power of the master of the house. Lion can save himself now.

Again lion and bird stand on the street in the Berlin residential area. Lion is now at least somewhat chastened. The two continue on their way to new adventures.
