FUTUREAn Accreditation System to be in place!
CA has developed an accreditation system
Study by Grant Thornton, covered practices in PCNC- Philippines, PCP- Pakistan and studied models like NAAC, ISO, MCI, etc.
Issues covered included process, costs, appeal process, etc. Clearly decided that at this stage, ACCREDITATION is to be done using Credibility Alliance norms, not rating.
Recommended outsourcing accreditation using CA firms and dev sector professionals that meet certain criteria, but appeals process hosted at the Credibility Alliance secretariat.
Meeting had being held in Delhi on August 21 to discuss and decide on the issue and start the process of empanelment of accrediting agencies. Invitees include board members, dev sector reps from different parts of India, reps from consultancy firms, rating agencies, CA firms with dev sector experience, dev consultants, schools of social work.
