Copper Sunset is one such example. “For as long as I can remember, I have been painting and drawing, and by far my favourite subject to paint is a portrait,” says Jac. “Every single person has different features and expressions which makes them incredibly interesting to paint. I would describe my style as colourful, bright and big. I have always been a fan of colour theory and like to use its meanings within the paintings,” she adds. morabon.com.au

13 shuh. When Shuh Lee moved to Melbourne from Kuala Lumpur to study at RMIT, it wasn’t long before Melbourne’s arts and culture scene took hold. After graduating and taking on a string of “random jobs”, Shuh. was born. It’s about using a mixture of arts and crafts to turn colourful objects into something fun. Raw finishes, organic shapes and oversized silhouettes are experimented with in different materials to create vibrant and unique keepsakes. The idea behind Burger Dreams came about while Shuh was hand-stitching rope/fabric necklaces, pre-cutting the fabrics into the right sizes. “When I was gathering the off-cuts and cleaning my work area, I noticed how well the off-cut colours worked together,” says Shuh, who couldn’t help but document the moment on canvas. shuh.bigcartel.com
