• Unemployment in ASEAN:- Youths - Disables
- 2014, 7 out of 10 ASEAN countries have over 11 millions people unemployed. - 2.4% Overall unemployment rate of ASEAN in 2016 – Over 15 million people

Malaysia’s unemployment rate – increased from 2.87% to 3.3% (2014 – 2016)
Where, Vietnam’s unemployment rate – increased by 1% (2014 – 2016)

Youth Unemployment Rate
Fluctuation of unemployment rate in 2004 and 2007, followed by the fluctuation during
2008 to 2013, and keep decreasing since 2014 from 6.89% to 6.52% in 2016.

Indonesia got the highest rate of youth unemployment among all ASEAN nations. Even though, there were a
reduction of the unemployment rate by 10%, Indonesia is still in a panic condition which need to be solved.

With over 6 million of Vietnam population categorized as disabled. Sadly over 70% of
Vietnam population are unemployed which is accounted for over 4 millions people.

If recommendations were not to be adopted, by 2020:
Unemployment Rate in ASEAN still over 2.3% * Over 14 millions people *
Total Youth Unemployment = over 6.4%
Possibility of Increase in Disable unemployment [More than 70% (over 4 millions people) in Vietnam]
