Access your email account

You can create a free email account at Gmail: http://gmail.com.

If you already have a Gmail account, enter your username and password to sign in.

Otherwise, click the button labeled Create an account to setup your Gmail account.

In order to create a gravatar account, you will need to enter your email address.

Your gravatar will be permanently connected to your email address.

You will need to check your email for an activation link before you can proceed.

Follow the activation link in the email to proceed.

Choose a username and password. You will need to use this in order to sign in to your gravatar account.

You can upload multiple images and change your gravatar at any time.

You can upload an image from your computer or link to an image on the Internet.

To upload an image from your computer, click Browse, and locate the file in your directory structure.

You will need to crop the image so that it is square. You can drag the handles on the sides and corner of the outlined box to adjust the viewing area. Crop and

center your image using the handles, then click

here.

You will be asked to rate your gravatar. You should only use images that you would consider “G-rated.”

Remember, this image will be linked to your email account and displayed on various Internet sites where you have accounts.

You can use this image for your gravatar, or you can add more images to your collection.

Once you’ve decided which image to use for your gravatar, you’re ready to log out.

Hover your mouse over, My Account and click on Log Out. You’re done!

Viewing your gravatar

Your gravatar will now appear next to your name when you comment on a blog post.

Your gravatar appears next to your name in your comments.
