COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

Student issues and queries are attended to by our Student Centre and will con-nect you to the appropriate members of staff for assistance. If you are unable to resolve an issue or query via the Student Centre, you may lodge a formal com-plaint:

� Sent an email to complaints@Trimond Academy.co.za and request a Com-plaints Resolution Form.

� Your request will be logged and you will receive a Complaints Resolution Form via email.

� Complete the Complaints Resolution Form and return it, together with all supporting documentation to complaints@Trimond Academy.co.za.

� Your complaint will be logged and you will receive a reference number which must be used in all further communications in respect of the complaint.

� The standard complaint resolution procedure at Trimond Academy will be followed to ensure that your complaint is attended to as a matter of urgency.

� In the event that you are not satisfied with the resolution, you will have the opportunity to log another complaint requesting the escalation of the matter to the managing director of Trimond Academy. Remember to include your original complaint reference number.

� The Managing Director will attend and respond to your complaint with a final decision on the matter.

STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT

The Trimond Academy Student Code of Conduct establishes the framework for on-campus student conduct and serves as the first point of reference for han-dling student complaints and grievances. The Student Code of Conduct contains all the rules and regulations for studying at Trimond Academy and are made available to all students upon enrolment at the campus.

LANGUAGE POLICY

At Trimond Academy, all teaching, learning and communications are conducted in the English language.

CANCELLATIONS

CANCELLATION PERIODTrimond Academy provide all students with a 14 (fourteen) calendar day period from signature of the Registration Form during which time you may elect to cancel your registration with Trimond Academy and be eligible for a full refund. No cancellations after this period will allowed without the written consent from Trimond Academy. Application fees and registration deposits are non-refundable.

REQUEST FOR CANCELLATIONOnly the person/organisation responsible for payment of the account may enter into a request for cancellation. Cancellation must be request-ed in writing, signed by the person / organisation responsible for pay-ment of the account and forwarded to cancellations@Trimond Academy.co.za.

REFUNDSYou may be eligible for a refund upon cancellation under the following conditions:

� In the event that you submit your cancellation of registration with Trimond Academy within 14 (fourteen) working days from signature of the Registration Form, you will be eligible for a full refund.

� In the event that you consider submitting your cancellation at Tri-mond Academy due to poor service delivery after the official cancella-tion window period, you first need to seek a resolution for your problem through our Complaints Procedure.

� Other duly motivated cancellations will only be considered under exceptional circumstances. Should the cancellation be approved, a can-cellation fee will be calculated and withheld, taking into consideration factors such as the reasons for cancellation, administrative and training materials costs incurred and the proportionate period of study com-pleted.

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

Are you interested in hotel management, restaurants, cruise liners, catering and event management? Our Hospitality and Tourism Management programmes will open doors for you in these fields, and many more. You will receive a certificate at the end of each level of the programme suitable for immediate employment upon

the successful completion of that level. You may continue with your studies to the next certificate level in the programme or alternatively apply for further degree studies at various international universities. Join top global institutions such as Tsogo Sun, Hilton, Premier Inn, Renaissance, Radisson Edwardian and Thistle hotels,

the Dhaka Sheraton, etc. Levels 3 and 4 of this programme allow entry into various hospitality service areas such as guest relations, reception and reservations, food and beverage services, accommodation services, events, etc. Levels 5 and 6 of this programme allows for further career progression opportunities into managerial

positions such as food and beverage manager, reservations manager, banqueting manager, catering manager, sales manager, event manager, guest relations man-ager, restaurant manager, kitchen manager, etc.

Programme fees include CTH student membership and student card, tuition, CTH first examination fees, CTH certification, course material and delivery costs. Full time student fees also include a hospitality uniform, one pair of hospitality safety shoes, induction

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

Our tourism management programmes are designed for students who want to plan, manage, develop, process and advise on local and international tourism ar-rangements. This programme consists of a range of UK-registered qualifications from the Foundation Level 3 right up to the Pro-Graduate Level 6. You will receive a qualification at the end of each level of the programme suitable for immediate employment upon the successful completion of that level. You may continue with

your studies to the next diploma level in the programme or alternatively apply for further degree studies at various international universities. The Level 3 Foundation Programme is perfect for you if you want to enter the industry within 12 months in one of the various entry level positions and work your way up through the ranks.

The Level 4 Undergraduate Programme is for you if you want to be employed or operate your own enterprise as an international travel consultant, travel information officer, tour operator, tour guide, travel agent or travel reservations agent. The Level 5 Advanced Programme allows for further career progression opportunities such

This programme, registered on the South African NQF, is perfect for those who want to able to run, or contribute to the running of small business, office or practice. As you work your way through this programme’s 12 subjects, you’ll move up from the Certificate through the Higher Certificate and ultimately to the Diploma – and achieve their associated NQF qualifications. There are numerous roles available for you in business, depend-ing on how far you go into the programme, including receptionist, marketing administrator, human resources and labour relations administrator,

office manager, etc. The knowledge you gain in each successive qualification builds on the last, allowing you to take on key functions and increased responsibility in your workplace.

Want to be able to offer indispensable bookkeeping and accounting skills, or become an accountant someday? This is the course for you. It will equip you with knowledge and practical skills in bookkeeping, financial accounting, income tax, financial management, reporting standards, corpo-

This programme is just the ticket if you have ambitions of managing a business and its finances. Good business management is vitally important for a company’s commercial success. In this programme, you’ll learn about business and financial management best practices, office and legal prac-

tice, human resource management, computer literacy, global business strategy and research methods in commerce. You can achieve the ICB Junior Business Administrator Level after completing just three subjects (and achieve the National Certificate: Small Business Financial Management).

Continue your studies to progress to the Senior Business Administrator and Business Accountant Levels, and their associated nationally recognised qualifications.

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

If you have dreams to start, manage or develop a small/medium sized business, or want to help grow an established local company to a global enterprise, this is the study stream for you. This programme teaches and takes you through the process, knowledge and skills required to create a

new venture, the management skills and knowledge to manage the venture and culminates in the exploration of the knowledge and skills to grow the venture as an entrepreneur through the principles creativity and innovation. It further covers specially-selected subjects to give you the financial,

accounting and commercial skills you’ll need to make your business a success. The course also covers strategy, marketing, human resources and the personal skills required to manage a sustainable business. The Entrepreneur Level will give you a good grounding. Keep studying to achieve

the Senior Entrepreneur and Management Accountant Levels, and their associated NQF qualifications.
