Best Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe Ingredients: 5 cups (24 oz) icing sugar tbsp lemon juice 2tsp milk 125g (4.5oz) softened butter 125g (4.5oz) softened cream cheese Cream Cheese Buttercream Frosting Cream Cheese - 225g (8oz or 1 cup) Butter (Unsalted) - 115g (4oz or 1 stick) Icing Sugar (confectioner's sugar) - 375g (13.25oz or 3 cups) Vanilla Extract - 1 Tsp Don't forget to refrigerate to get the best consistency! Some cream cheese frosting recipes are too sloppy for me. I don't have access to good block cream cheese and by adding the softer cream cheese later it seems to keep the recipe firm enough to pipe nicely. 200g 60%-70% dark chocolate (I combined 100g of unsweetened+100g semi-sweet chocolate)300g softened butter350g powdered sugar150g cocoa powder1-3 tsp. instant coffee (opt.* I added 1 tsp.)1/2 tsp. vanilla extract4 tbsp.+ milk (add as needed)

1. Melt chocolate in double boiler.2. In a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat butter until white and fluffy.3. Gradually add in powdered sugar, cocoa powder and instant coffee, mix until smooth.4. Add melted chocolate and continue to mix until smooth.5. Add vanilla extract and milk as needed for a fluffy, smooth and tacky consistency.
