His wife directs a Montessori-method child-minding and pre-school service and he has gained valuable insight and experience in entertaining children over the past four years.

He has a BA in Philosophy from Trinity College.

Lorraine Prunty Cooke is a trained Montessori School teacher and has been working in child care for the last 24 years. She obtained her primary diploma from the London Montessori Centre in 1990. After returning from the UK in 2000 she took up a position with the Daughters of Charity Order working as the Montessori teacher in early intervention.

In 2009 Lorraine founded ‘Maisy’s Place’ childcare facility and operates from her home on the Willie Nolan Road. Since then she has built up a successful business to the point of total capacity.
