The Gamble House Lectures and Tours9:00 am – 11:00 am $30 nonmembers / $25 membersAttend one of two lectures, “Asian-Inspired Influences on the Design of the Gamble House” or “The Culture of the Arroyo Seco and the Gamble House”, followed by a docent-guided tour of this National Historic Landmark.

Cabinet Maker Studio Tour12:30 pm – 2:00 pm or 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

There is more to the Arts & Crafts Movement than just architecture. Painters, ceramists, textile artists, builders, and others found their niche in the Movement and Craftsman Weekend gives guests the opportunity to learn more with hands-on and in-depth activities.

Silk Painting Workshop9:00 am – 12:00 pm $70 nonmembers / $65 members Enjoy the thrill of silk painting with Audrey Durnan, Master Silk Painter. All materials will be provided, and you will produce a beautiful, floral hand-painted silk scarf/table-runner. Space is limited.

Arts & Crafts Hand Embroidery Workshop9:00 am – 12:00 pm $90 nonmembers / $85 membersLearn the fine art of hand embroidery with Roycroft Master Artisan Natalie Richards. Participants will stich the Poppies Tablescarf or an embroidery kit of their choice. Space is limited.

This seminar will show you how to remove windows, retrieve old weights and replace window cords. It will also help you determine what kinds of windows were originally in your old house. See how the changes in technology defined equipment, efficiency, and variety in recipes. Samples of baked goods, made using Craftsman-era recipes, will be provided.

The Antiques and Contemporary Furnishings & Decorative Arts Sale will be held at the Pasadena Convention Center. Pasadena Heritage will showcase more than 40 exhibitors from across the U.S. and their broad spectrum of Craftsman-era and period-inspired works.

Be sure to visit the Pasadena Heritage membership and merchandise booth and the popular Silent Auction, which will close at 4:00 pm on Sunday.
