PARISH MISSION AND VISION
WEEKLY SCRIPTURE PASSAGEAs we pray together the verse from Paul's letter to
the Corinthians may we be reminded that we are to encourage one another in Christ.
“Finally, brothers, rejoice. Mend your ways, encourage one another, agree with one another, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.” 2 Corinthians 13:11
FATHER JAMIE’S HEALING HUMORHigh school seniors decided to have a car wash to
raise funds for their prom. As fortune or misfortune would have it, the skies poured down rain on the day of the event. Not to be frustrated, the kids came up with this sign: “God’s Cooperative Car Wash. We wash – God rinses.” They had a successful wash.
The human family is to be like the Divine Family of Father, on and Holy Spirit. We are to live and love in mutual cooperation with God and with each other. Let us praise God for being a community of loving persons. We succeed when we are faithful in prayer to the Trinity and in service to the community of family.
PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR SICK Please keep in your prayers Billy Dinnen and all the members of our parish who are ill.
If you would like your loved one’s or friend’s name on the please pray for list, please call the rectory office at (216) 524-
1987. Please be sure that the person who is ill consents to have their name placed on the list.
REST IN PEACE May all our deceased parishioners live forever in the joy of the Resurrection…Marie Czenkner, John Dovico, Alice Halupnik,

WEEKLY SCRIPTURE PASSAGE
Happy Feast of the Holy Trinity! What a blessing it is that we have a God who is a family. Father, Son and Holy Spirit – three divine persons giving and receiving love as a family. The Father constantly loving the Son, creates humanity out of love. The Son, becoming human, pours out His life in one saving sacrifice of love for human redemption. The Holy Spirit, the love shared between Father and Son, is poured into our hearts at Pentecost. God knows family life is complicated and often messy which is precisely why He sends us the Holy Spirit to be our advocate and guide. Model your family life on the Blessed Trinity – you were made to give and receive love!
New Mass Schedule! Daily Masses resume now at 8:15 a.m. Monday through Saturday. 4:00 p.m. vigil on Saturday, 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Outdoor Drive-thru Confessions or by appointment with a priest: Due to the cleaning limitations of COVID-19, we are going to continue having drive-thru confessions in our parking lot every Saturday from 2:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. If this doesn’t work for you, you can always call the parish office and schedule an individual time with one of our priests.
Temporary Rectory Office Hours: Our parish office is open for walk-in business on Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Please wear a mask when coming to the office. You can always call the office anytime Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. to conduct business over the phone.
Here is how you can help us right now:
1. New Collection Counters: Given the realities of Coronavirus and the six-foot distancing guidelines, we need to reform our weekly collection counting teams. Our weekly collection is counted on Monday mornings starting at 9:00 a.m. in the rectory basement meeting room. I need 4 teams of 4-5 people who are willing to wear masks, space themselves out 6 feet and who can follow the diocesan money counting guidelines. One team of 4-5 people can count the collection in less than two hours. If you are interested and willing to assist, please contact Fr. Suso at the rectory for a copy of the guidelines and to schedule an interview.
2. Live-Stream Coordinators: I am grateful to our parishioner Kevin Doerle of Carpe Diem Media for his assistance in live-streaming our Masses during the pandemic. We have been getting between 4,000-5,000 viewers weekly when Masses were shut down! We are planning on continuing the live-streaming of Masses by installing our own camera and streaming system in the church this summer to provide this valuable service for folks who can’t come to Mass weekly and as a way to evangelize and form people remotely into disciples of Jesus. I need several parishioners who are knowledgeable and willing to operate the video stream on a weekly basis at one Mass every weekend. If anyone is interested, please contact Fr. Suso at the rectory.
3. Sacristans, Mass Coordinators and Friday Morning Church Cleaners: We need new sacristans and Friday morning church cleaners. A sacristan is someone who assists the priests and deacons with cleaning and maintaining the church vessels, vestments, and sanctuary before and after our Masses. Mass coordinators have the responsibility of overseeing the liturgical ministers (Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion) before each of our Masses to make sure they are signed in and prepared for their ministry. Now that we have a new Mass schedule at 4:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and 12:00 p.m., it is the perfect time to volunteer for this important ministry. Church Cleaners - The church is currently being cleaned every Friday morning after the 8:15 a.m. Mass by a group of dedicated volunteers who vacuum the floor, wash the windows, change the candles, straighten books, etc. If you are interested in joining this group, please contact Fr. Suso!
Never Forget, the Lord is with us, always!

FINANCIAL NEWS AND NOTES
• Since we are unable to attend Mass, you can always drop off your weekly offertory envelope at the Parish Office or you can put it in another envelope and mail it.
• When writing checks to the parish please write out the entire year 2020 in the date in order to avoid any potential fraud. By writing out the date as 1/1/20 (January 1, 2020), the year can be fraudulently changed to 2021, or any other date in this century. Instead, make sure when you’re dating documents in 2020 that you write the year out in full.
• Please refrain from sending us one single check attached to multiple unmarked envelopes. The parish has no way of knowing how much money is being designated for each unmarked envelope therefore they must be returned. Please carefully mark your envelopes with the proper dollar amount so you can receive credit for your donation.
• Tuition assistance envelopes are processed separately from weekly offertory. Therefore, please write a separate check when contributing to tuition assistance. Catholic Charities envelopes are processed by the diocese so please write a separate check when contributing to Catholic Charities.
