Common Questions and Answers

Q: What do I do if the water is cloudy? Why is it cloudy? A: 1. Check the chemicals

- The water is most likely cloudy because the Chlorine level is low

2. Backwash

3. Check for clogs in tubing and insertion points 4. Call Supervisor and let them know the problem 5. Ad appropriate chemical and balance the water

Q: What do I do if the water temperature is really high/low? A: Call in a work order and notify supervisor. Q: What happens if volatilization occurs in the pool? A: Call supervisor, they will shut down pool and notify the schools. Q: What happens if the probe readings are low? A: Check your incoming water valve and make sure it is open enough. Check your outgoing water valve and make sure it is not open too much. Check line for clogs. Q: What if there is no Chlorine flow? A: There is either a small crack in the line, or your insertion point is clogged. Q: What if an alarm is blinking red on the computer? A: The computer will trip for a number of reasons.
