s a fine sunny day with low humidity The breezeseatened to blow paper around but it eventually died downOver fifty were in attendance at this years annual evente suspect some people simply forgot to check theirlendars There was ample food for all and as usual ouranizers cooks and volunteers did a great job

We must mention members LeRoy Crossman our Seniore Commander for his outstanding work with contributions

Descriptions of events often vary Thetaste of a food is different Written materialis interpreted in many ways Look at theBible How we react to fingernails on ablackboard Some perceive odors aspleasant and others donrsquot Some thinkthings slimy others as smooth Some likemushrooms others donrsquot

All of our perceptions come from ourmind and have been developed andinternalized The things we experience aresimply our mindrsquos mirror interpretingthings for us based on our assimilatedknowledge correct or incorrect Peoplecan change their perception with someadditional information

Chapter 57 refers to itself as ldquoThe Can-Do Chapterrdquo and judgingby their work on ldquoThe 57 Showrdquo- theyrsquore not kidding The show isproduced written edited and hosted entirely by members of theTaunton Chapter 57 Disabled American Veterans organization

The 25th episode included a commentary from the showsrsquo hostJohn Fielding and the showsrsquo news announcer Mort Morin as theyintroduced clips from the past 24 episodes of the programThere was also a 4 minute clip from former show co-host BobDoherty Doherty a former Prisoner of War WWII veteran andauthor hosted the show until recently and will now continue tocontribute to the show with monthly commentaries
