•They Love what has to be done.•Brood deeper on the Subject than just following general procedure.•They realize that life and workspace
have a variety of tasks and hence keeping aside their tasks of interest, they work for betterment of society.

Personal commitment is the act or quality of voluntarily taking on or fulfilling obligations.

• Thinks why should I give up my comforts and pleasures and show interest in the project.

• Commit themselves to the success of the project.
• Gets completely involved in the project for its success.

• Interest can be defined as willingness or drive of a person in doing something.
• Initiative is a persons ability to propel himself for doing something.
• Intellect is a term used in studies of the human mind, and refers to the ability of the mind to come to correct conclusions about what is true or real, and about how to solve problems.

EMOTIONAL ENGAGEMENT
• Emotional engagement: Ability of an individual to engage emotionally
to any work assigned or situation faced.
• Contributors emotionally connected with a firm will always accept the challenges without thinking about their “likes” or “dislikes”.
EMOTIONAL DISENGAGEMENT
• Emotional disengagement: A person who is not concerned about the
work assigned or the situation faced can be called as emotionally disengaged person.
• One who is emotionally disengaged is a non-contributor and thinks that his work is boring and hates to struggle for a solution.

Case story • This story is about the Manhattan project and how the leaders
inspired/drove the workers to emotionally connect to their work.
• It shows that when an emotionally disengaged person is shown the positive outcome and true meaning of his work, he works more efficiently and whole heartedly and gets emotionally engaged to it.
• Sharing a mission and a vision with the group can provide the necessary inspiration to enable whole-hearted engagement with the work and it can stretch the limits of performance.
