Housing design

Enclosures are faHricated froﾏ ヱヱ-gauge aluﾏinuﾏ as standard. Ele┗en-

gauge ﾏild steel and stainless steel are a┗ailaHle upon reケuest. Enclo-sures are ┘elded for ﾏa┝iﾏuﾏ rigidity. Reﾏo┗aHle co┗ers are secured ┘ith Holts for ease of access ┘hen ﾏaking joints and suHseケuent peri-odic inspecions.

Enclosures are painted ┘ith a Haked-on polyester po┘der coat paint systeﾏ resuling in a ┗ery duraHle inish ┘ith uniforﾏ thickness and gloss. This cosﾏeically pleasing inish ﾏiniﾏizes the risk of proHleﾏs in harsh en┗ironﾏents. The standard color is ANSI-ヶヱ light gray. Special paint colors are a┗ailaHle upon reケuest.

The housing is designed ┘ith ヰ.5ヰ-inch adjustaHility at the joint ふヰ.ヲ5-

inch ﾏore or less than noﾏinalぶ. To ﾏake these adjustﾏents, reﾏo┗e the t┘o noﾏinal posiion scre┘s and loosen the t┘o ヰ.ンΑ5-ヱヶ Holts on the adjustaHle angle. The adjustaHle angle, collar, and HusHars are sloted to allo┘ ﾏo┗eﾏent. Adjustﾏent a┗ailaHle on horizontal joints only.

Enclosures for outdoor applicaions are supplied ┘ith a neoprene gas-ket. The gasket is applied under the collar and around the cutout of the top access co┗er ふ┘hen pro┗idedぶ. RuHHer ┘ashers are pro┗ided ┘ith the collar hard┘are and top access co┗er hard┘are.
