Overview

My exhibit starts with the dream of being a firefighter, with a boy looking up to a fellow firefighter. The next slides portray the life of a firefighter waiting at the hall for a call. Slide 6 shows a call was dispatched and fire trucks are heading to the scene. Slides 7-24 indicate a working fire, and in chronological order show from stage to stage of what may go on during the call. I found that the artist Paul Walsh was the most detailed and realistic artist I came across. The exhibit is mostly of his work, with a few others included. The detail of the fire and what they experience during the call. The dangers of “Hell on Earth” describe the theme of “I wish you could know.” The background of each slide is to resemble the fire-like atmosphere. With a glow near the bottom to complete darkness resembling the smoke to the ceiling.
