Fresh is an service enterprise that would cater exactly the same, it would buy
fruits and vegetables according to your requirement and then hygienically
chop and clean it the way you want it to be, and all this just a call away.
Fresh will be a project designed and developed at low costs but will be
executed at high standards of professionalism in every aspect of the
business.

At the initial level with investment in plant and machinery being 23500
Fresh’s strategic plan is to start up with a very small project as to check the
market perception for services like fruit and vegetable chopping.
After the success of the first outlet of Fresh, we plan to expand in terms of
number of outlets and areas covered. The first expansion drive would take
place after the first year creating 2 additional outlets at # and #. And
substantially increase the number of outlets by at least 3 every year.
After having successfully operated in Bangalore for 6 years and enough
confidence on the proposition strengthened by strong financial stability and
the un catered market proving to be a huge profit generating source Fresh
can now diversify even out of Bangalore following its primarily strategic
plans of expanding slowly but substantially.

SERVICE MIX
The service
Fresh would be aimed at providing quality service in the niche
field of fruits and vegetable chopping to its customers. The service mix there
fore includes the service of accepting and delivering the chopped and
cleaned vegetables in time.
Price
The cleaned and chopped vegetables and fruits would be
available to the masses in variable prices ranging from a profit margin of 7%
to 10%
For permanent premium customers like restaurants and mess the
pricing would be a bit less compared to the other retail and household
customers, primarily because restaurants and mess always look for cost
cutting in almost every thing, hence if the service available to them is
proving more costly then they themselves doing it they would obviously go
for doing it themselves.
The pricing strategy is based upon the principle that profits can
be generated in low margins by increasing the number of customers. This
strategy helps the business to maintain a healthy growth rate throughout its
lifespan.

OPERATIONAL PLAN.
Fresh would collect orders from its clients mainly from households,
restaurants, mess, hostels, and canteens.
Fresh will have delivery schedule four times a day and the time to
give order: -
Delivery Last Order Time
Morning (6 am) 12 pm
Afternoon (12 pm) 11 am
Evening (5 pm) 4 am
Night (8pm) 7 am
Other than this delivery schedule customers can collect it directly
from the enterprise.
Quality vegetables would be brought directly from the farm since the
purchase will be at large quantities, Fresh would enjoy buying at
relatively cheaper prices and then forwarding the vegetables and fruits
to the customers at market prices along with few service charges of
chopping and cleaning.
Weekly accounts of regular customers would be maintained.
Regular customers would be given an unique identification number
which would make it easy for the customer to place the order and
Fresh to supply the goods.

INVENTORY METHOD.
Just in time Inventory method
After having substantial experience in form of time in the business and
having had an idea of the approximate requirements of the customers
Fresh can adopt Just in time inventory method to reduce the cost of
holding inventory and this method will also help in a proper flow of
inventories.
COMPETITION ANALYSIS
As in Bangalore there are no direct competitors as such, but an insight to
the kind of service that Fresh provides its indirect competitors could be
the other fresh vegetable and fruit outlets that provide home delivery,
however the service mix of Fresh is very different from the other outlets.

Households, restaurants, mess, hostels, and canteens.
The major target customers of Fresh are the restaurants, mess and
canteens that are ready to out source their purchase and chopping work to
an enterprise such as Fresh.

The dual career families are also a segment market for Fresh, the
enterprise would reduce the burden on these dual career households,
Fresh from being an option for your day to day needs becomes a prime
option on events like parties and occasions.
