To whom it may concern, I am interested in the teaching position for Latin. I graduated from the University of Richmond in 2013 majoring in Leadership Studies, Classical Civilization and Latin. I also minored in Greek. I am very interested in teaching Latin or Greek at your school. I am well read in both Latin and Greek texts ranging from Homer to Caesar. I believe that it is important to study languages as much meaning is lost when texts are placed into English form another language. I think one of the most important examples of this is the Bible. I also love athletics and have played rugby for almost four years. I also love lacrosse. If there are any coaching or assisting opportunities, I would be glad to help. Best, Tony Monroy
