My primary duties as Office Manager at One Planet Ops (formerly known as Reply! Inc.) included making sure that all operating functions (lights, printers, carpet, etc.) were in good, working order, and if not, contacting the property management to have any issues fixed. I placed all orders for office supplies, snacks, catering, etc., as well as handled making all company travel arrangements. I answered phones and directed calls to the proper departments, kept the office and kitchen organized and stocked, and occasionally ran errands for special requests. I also handled shipping and receiving, mail distribution, credit card information, and helped our Accounts Payable department reconcile monthly credit card statements. As the Executive Assistant to two of the top salespeople in my division at the Tom James Company, I helped simultaneously run two successful businesses that have reached profits of close to two million dollars in a rolling 12 months. I regularly interacted with clients, communicated with factories, and ensured that orders and various other parts of the business were rolling on a good track at a steady pace to ensure that everything was always moving in forward motion. I know what it takes to build and run a successful business and how each cog in the framework of the business has to do its job well and work together well in order for the whole machine to run well. I am a very hard worker and invest myself in whatever I do. I strive to go above and beyond what is expected because I see the importance of my position and want success for the business as a whole. I am a big believer in there always being a better solution if the current one is not working out, so when unforeseen circumstances arise, I seek to understand in order to find a solution. I am confident in my ability to exercise my judgment in order to make decisions, but also see the importance of asking questions and considering the ideas and opinions of others. I have a passion for serving people and helping them to excel to their full potential and I know I would be a valuable asset at your company. I am a self-starter, industrious, positive, organized and communicative, and I have a working background that has developed the skills that are needed in order to be a beneficial contribution.
