About Hijabers Community

Hijabers Community was founded on November, 27th, 2010 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Around 30 women (i.e Jenahara, Ria Miranda, Dian Pelangi, Lulu

Elhasbu, Fitri Aulia, Rima Bawazier, etc) had same interest in creating a muslimah community which can empower many women to become

better Muslimah.

The community was created to become a learning platform to empower Muslimah to be a better woman in their society according to Al-Quran and As-Sunnah and to facilitate every Muslimah to meet new

friends, sharing idea, sharing expertise, and strengthen Hijabers network.

Our Activities

Pengajian HC

Pengajian HC is a monthly activity with 200-300 muslimah as participants from

various age. The activity are including reciting Quran, Tausiyah, sharing session,

sedekah and pray together.

Hijabers Day Out

To develop HC members and Muslimah skills, HC held 3-4 HDO every year. It can be a

mini-workshop, seminar, indoor or outdoor activity exclusively for 30 up to 50 people with different theme in every HDO. Some topics of

HDO are : Beauty and Health; Entrepreneurship; Islamic Parenting; DIY; Creative Writing; Fit and

Fun; Fashion Design; etc.

Our ActivitiesSedekah HC

As contribution to society and also to increase Muslimah social tolerance and

empathy to their society, HC together with members also other social

community conduct regular charity for both tactical and non-tactical needs

Ngabuburit HC

Ramadhan is a period of fasting, reflection, devotion, generosity, and sacrifice observed by

Muslims around the world. In the spirit of holy month Ramadhan, HC reach out the member and community to do activities together with the objective to engage Muslimah to optimize

their worship and the good deed. Example of the events : Charity hopping, sharing session to Yatim, Tadarus, Learn to be Hafidz, Iftar, etc.

And the most wanted event….

About HC DayIt is our annual event that held since 2013. Previously named as HIJAB DAY for the

past 4 years and the name changed to HC DAY since 2017. HC DAY is Jakarta biggest annual event bonding for Hijabers.

In this event, we successfully gathered 6000 hijabers in one day in one place! HC Day is source of inspiration and learning platform for Hijabers to be a High-quality

Muslimah in an exciting way. The program consists of various talk shows, fun workshops, and interactive sessions with topics such as Islamic Studies, soft skill development, social science, creative industry, and many more. We invite Ustad,

Ustadzah, public figure, influencer and the experts as guest speakers.

We also engage with lots of fashion local brands for booth exhibition and also partnered with lots of social community across Indonesia in promoting the events.

HC DAY 2019 The theme for the 8th HC Day

“Muslimah as an Agent of Change”

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) told us about 4 women in history who had perfected their faith, and were guaranteed Paradise, and among them were : a single mother ,

a woman who defied her husband , a business women and a daughter who was forced to grow up too soon.

“Sufficiently these women are your role models, namely Maryam bint Imran, Khadijah bint Khuwailid, Fatimah bint Muhammad, and Asiyah bint Muzahim, the wife of Fir'uan”

Referring to the story of those 4 amazing women in Islam, we can learn that no matter what is the situation, women can make a difference without having to degrade themselves. Their

story show us that human value is not based on sex appeal, but based on inherent self-worth and passion.
