New to the Community House, Tony Gibb, 8TH DAN BLACK BELT, of

Gibb’s Taekwondo is offering a course for the whole family.

Taekwondo is a martial art encouraging confidence and discipline with

emphasis on various kicking techniques. Whether you are looking for a workout, self defence techniques or competitive sparring, taekwondo is a

martial art that has something for everyone. This class is suitable for all ages and a great way to get fit while learning self defence techniques in a fun and friendly environment. Parents train FREE

STAYING SAFE ONLINE SESSIONS

Tutor | Janek Kondzior

Janek has been tinkering with computers his whole life. Last year he graduated with an IT Diploma from RMIT and is currently studying Cyber Security. Janeks sessions are designed to fill the gaps he sees exist around key knowledge for staying safe online.

YOUNG PEOPLE AND CYBER SECURITY

This session is targeted at 8-14 year old children and covers important information around social media use, data and cyber security, managing passwords, safe internet browsing, verifying links and safely using USB storage.

YOUR FAMILY’S ONLINE SECURITY

This session is targeted at parents and carers to help

them better understand how to keep kids and or

grandkids safe online. The session covers topics such

as, Gaming and social media addiction, how to control

and manage what kids access on the internet, the

importance of data in the computer generation, how to

store your family's digital information securely and the

importance of keeping up to date.

This session is aimed at all ages and includes important

information around dealing with phone call scams,

managing your email account, browsing the internet

securely, safety when using Facebook and other social

Mindworks is a mental health service that provides support to people with mental health concerns re-join their community, and maintain their place within it. Mindworks works to foster connected communities based upon belonging, safety, and a sense of identity. Join us at the Anglesea Community House for a catch up, a coffee and a chat in a relaxed place.

DRAMA CLUB ON THE COAST

with Lucinda Reilly

Continuing on at ACH in Term 3 is Drama Club for

kids aged 8-12 to explore all the dynamic facets of

drama. A weekly 75 minute session of theatre sports,

games, improvisation, creativity and quick thinking— a

wonderful opportunity to collaborate with other bud-

ding young actors. Perfect for children wanting to

hang out, have fun, improvise, create and use their

wild imaginations! It is also a great opportunity to en-

hance communication skills and the ability to co-

create within a team environment.

The group will work towards a finale ‘cabaret’ style

event where friends and family can come along and

enjoy some bite sized performances by the young ac-

tors.

Lucinda has a diverse background in theatre, from

producing and performing, to working with children in

various genres. She has also been a member of the

Inside Out theatre troop providing theatre experiences

in primary schools all over Victoria.
