Introduction to Preorder1. Preorder means purchases

ordered by passengers before the flight.

2. The cabin crew places the purchases on passenger seats before embarkation.

3. Catering delivers the preorder receipts to the cabin crew of the flight.

4. The cabin crew collects the payment of the preorders during the flight using these receipts.

The payment for preorders is usually collected during the inflight sales using two types of receipts: •Type One Preorder Receipt •Type Two Preorder Receipt

Type One Preorder Receipt

Processing a type one preorder receipt: • The customer has already given his credit

or bank card number in the order form and the receipt is made ready for signature.

• On the flight, the receipt’s barcode is scanned on the terminal and the customer accepts the receipt with his signature.

• Return this preorder receipt in the accounting bag.

• Once you have recorded the transaction on the terminal, write OK and your ID number on the preorder receipt to mark that it has been processed.

Processing a type one preorder receipt: • Type two preorder receipt is a regular

receipt and is not ready for a signature.

• The customer pays for the items on the flight, and can choose any means of payment.
