COURSE INTRODUCTION
MC-9 (Cebuano Journalism)
Course DESCRIPTION
The course allows the students to learn the nature and mechanics of broadcast news with focus on the Cebuano language.
Actual news writing in Cebuano serves as vehicle for the output of the course.
Course OBJECTIVES
COGNITIVE:
Know the difference between English and Cebuano as medium for writing news, and to make the necessary adjustment for a better and more understandable broadcast performance;

Appreciate and feel the impact of his/her news performance through the proper and correct use of the Cebuano language; and
