Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
CO1-define fundamental principles of electrical power systems, AC circuits, transformer and electrical machines
CO2-describe the characteristics of transformer and electrical machines
CO3- solve and analyze the problems in the AC circuits, transformer and electrical machines
Course DescriptionThe course covers introduction to electrical supply system, single and three-phase supply, elements of industrial power system, design, operation and maintenance, industrial applications of electrical machines and power transformers and single phase motors.
Syllabus Content1.0 Introduction to Electrical Supply System (10 hours)
