I’m sure you’ve been pouring over photographer’s websites and galleries, trying to make sense of it all and find the right fit for you. It can be a daunting task so I want to make this guide as easy as possible for you to understand what sets me apart from other photographers so you can make the right choice for you!

From the moment you book with me, I want to make your portrait session an experience like none other. I take a limited number of sessions each year so I can focus more individual attention on you and your session. I want you to have gorgeous, UNIQUE portraits and to have a blast taking them.

I pride myself in tailoring sessions to fit your style and personality. First, we’ll go over the type of look and locations you’re interested in (urban, nature, skyline, beach, harbor, city-scape, the El, navy pier, riverwalk, flowers, etc). Chicago has a lot of great options - the possibilities are endless!

We’ll go over every detail of your look from clothes, to hair and makeup. I stay up to date on the latest looks and trends and provide exclusive access to clothing, hair and makeup ideas to help make your session unique and set you apart from everyone else.

During your session, my aim is for you to be relaxed and to have fun. If we can do that, I know you will love your portraits! Don’t get me wrong, by the time our session is done you’ll be ready to kick your feet up but we’ll get to go to some amazing locations and have a great time taking portraits.

After your session I retouch every photo I show. Over the past 8 years as a photographer, I’ve perfected and pride myself not only on my unique perspective as an artist, but also on a unique editing style that will set your portraits apart.

I know ordering prints and packages can be confusing however once your portraits have been posted in the online ordering gallery, I’m happy to work with you to help figure out the package that best suits your needs.

Q. What is your editing process?

A. I digitally retouch every single image I show. I am considered a boutique photographer - I take a limited number of sessions each year so I can spend considerable time editing and perfecting each and every image you see to provide the highest quality in portraiture. Enhancements include color and lighting correction, exposure adjustments, skin smoothing and blemish removal as needed.

Q. When will my portraits be ready?

A. Portraits can be expected to be ready approximately 3-4 weeks from the date of your session. When they are ready, I will e-mail a link to you with information on how to access your online ordering gallery. Your portraits will be in the online ordering gallery for 30 days only. Once you have placed your order, I will begin processing it immediately!

Q. How can I make a payment?

A. Your session fee is due at the time of the session and can be paid online through Paypal or by cash or check. Purchases made from the online ordering gallery can be paid through Paypal from the ordering site, over the phone by CC, or by cash or check.

Q. How far in advance should I book?

A. It is best to book your session at least one month in advance to allow plenty of time to coordinate your session and looks.

Chicago has many great options! I will work with you to come up with locations that fit your style and vision.

If you have a personal request, we can certainly go there however no need to have any specific spots in mind.
