The Global Website Renovation
Stage One Education Pack for Member Committees
The Global Website renovation
Refreshed content and visual design for all website pages hosted on the AIESEC web publishing system, including
•Global website•Country websites, and
•Local Committee websites
All Going Live to the Public on the 15th of April 2009!
The objectives?
1) Catch ‘traffic’, members and partners, and direct them into the
offices and recruitment stalls of the AIESEC network.
2) Create a hub for the momentum already;• here• here• here
3) Refresh our website to represent AIESEC as an organisation run by young people for young people
The implementation process for my country?
Stage One: Preparation of ‘offline’ content(10th of March – 1st of April)
Stage Two: country folders opened, Intensive Migration of content to the CMS
(1st of April – 10th of April)
Stage Three: Public Launch of the new global, country and LC websites!

1) Contact Information
Prepare your countries contact information• Country Name• MC address• Phone number• Website• email contact address
2) Tabs and Sub Tabs ContentThe content of the tabs and sub tabs follows the same structure as the current Web Publishing System. We recommend you prepare content for 5 tabs with needed sub tabs:• Home• Students• Partners• Alumni• <insert tab name here>
Tip: Create your tabs and sub tab content in a
closed wiki to keep the same formatting as the
WPS!
3) HeaderThis header can be customised to rotate your countries I am an AIESECer/I am an AIESEC Partner/I am an AIESEC alumni images. For the time being, we recommend you prepare 7-10 case studies to insert into this header with the sample below as a visual template, size 800 X 300

4) Youtube: “AIESEC TV”
The “AIESEC TV” space can be customised to stream your countries youtube channel. If you would like to customise this, please prepare a playlist on your Youtube channel with content for this space.

The “AIESEC Gallery” space can be customised to stream your countries Flickr account or group. If you would like to customise this, please prepare an account or group with appropriate tags to appear in this space.

N.B Global content
The top and bottom panels of the country page cannot be customised. The aiesec logo remains fixed globally while the other links pass through to the global pages dedicated to; ‘select country territory’, ‘about aiesec’, ‘Press’, ‘FAQ’ ‘contact us’ and ‘privacy policy’.
