HVSs Cubbies October 15th :30 PM at The Henry Viscardi School Albertson, NY From Head Coach Joseph Slaninka The Henry Viscardi School is a Regents accredited school that educates children with physical disabilities from Long Island, New York City and Westchester. The HVS Wheelchair Basketball Program consists of 3 teams: Elementary, Junior Varsity and Varsity. The program was created to allow children of all levels of physical abilities the opportunity to play together as a team and to reach their highest potential as athletes. The game is set up to allow each child to be as independent as possible while on the basketball court. The program gives the children a chance to have fun, respect each other's individual needs and learn good sportsmanship. Our goal is to encourage individuality, heighten self-esteem and provide a safe environment for each member of our program. Other Upcoming Events in October ST.
