Steaming cups of coffee, fluffy PJs and gorgeous autumn leaves are some of the more pleasant ways that tell us winter is here. On the other hand, the not-so-pleasant ways include static everywhere, dry, itchy skin, chapped lips and runny noses. Winter weather can really put stress on your skin that can end up affecting your mood. Time to change some of your beauty routine staples.

1. Switch your cleanser Changing your regular cleanser to a cream cleanser is the first swap to make in your beauty routine during colder months. Try to sit with your head directly over your body. • Bag it up: If you carry a laptop use a rucksack design laptop case, carry it on both shoulders and adjust the straps so that the bag is held close to your back. • Stretch it out: When using your cell, smartphone, laptop or tablet whilst sitting down, take the time to break position on a regular basis and stretch your arms, shrug your shoulders and move your fingers around as this helps to keep the muscles more relaxed. Try to avoid sitting in the same position for more than 40 minutes at a time.
