BUYERS’ GUIDE

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF VOLLERS CORSETRY

Vollers Corsets are the iconic garment that can be worn for lingerie and outerwear.

They are about comfortable body control that can

make you feel and look sexy and elegant.

This guide takes you through fitting and measuring and explains some of the styles to suit your

customers.

MEASURING & FITTING

1. The main points for measuring are the circumference of the

bus t, waist and hips. 2. Bra cup size does not

come into it, as none of the corsets have cups, all bar one style.

3. Once measured, always

fit a corset at least 2”-4” smaller than their natural waist to achieve the hourgl ass effect.

4. For fitting, undo the front busk and loosen the laces at the back 5. Approach the customer from

the back to place the corset around the body. Try to encourage the customer to wear a ves t or t-shirt to prevent marking).

6. Fasten the corset at the

front starting at the top and neatly align the front clasps.

7. Now the exci ting part, star t pulling/adjusting the l aces, starting at the top – then at the hips and finally tighten the w aist and f asten.

8. To achieve a good fit, sometimes it’s necessary to try another

style for different lengths, and variation in the bust and hip measurements, as explained in “Features & Benefits”

9. Once the corset is on, and the

customer is amazed at the feel good f actor that may be the sale. But if the customer wants the corset alte red slightly we can offer an alte ration service (price available on enquiry).

10. You may decide, however, to offer

a full “Made to Measure” service. For this service a form is attached at the back of this Guide. Prices are available on application.

DISPLAY It is important to display and/or have a visual of the corset worn, as

the corsets will not sell themselves on hangers.
