Webster S Series Immersible Pumps

CORROSION RESISTANT PUMPS

These rugged, chemical duty pumps are available in CPVC (Corzan®), fiberglass reinforced Polypropylene, and PVDF. Precision moulded, dynamically balanced, “enclosed” impellers allow pumping of abrasive solutions and operating against closed discharge valves. The pump is quickly and easily serviced since the body stays in-line while the pump core is removed. Optimum chemical resistance is provided with your choice of CPVC (Corzan®) or Fiberglass Reinforced Polypropylene construction. Washdown and Explosion-proof motors are available as well as inlet screens & extended shafts. Viton® “O” ring end cover seal allows for mounting in liquid, or with inlet extension.

The precision moulded, dynamically balanced, enclosed impellers with unique “tandem” design allows for pumping of abrasive solutions, the ability to run dry indefinitely, and to operate against closed discharge valves. Available in ratings of 3 and 5 horsepower for continuous duty operation. Webster C5/C7/C8/C10 Centrifugal PumpsThe C5, C7 and C8 Series pumps are designed specifically for continuous chemical duty service. They are rugged, precision molded, and feature dynamically balanced, enclosed impellers. Units are available in CPVC (Corzan®), fiberglass reinforced Polypropylene, and PVDF (Solef® ) with ratings of 1/3, 1, 1-1/2, 3 and 5 horsepower. The standard mechanical seal is a John Crane Type 21 single seal, carbon/ceramic. Other seal materials are available depending on the process fluid. Water-wash seals are available for especially aggressive or “crystallizing” liquids. Pump models are also available with a rugged cast iron bearing frame for belt-drive or other coupled drivers.

Webster S Series Quick Service PumpsThe S8 Series are rugged, chemical duty pumps available in CPVC (Corzan®). They are precision molded, dynamically balanced, and have “enclosed” impellers allowing pumping of abrasive solutions, and operation against closed discharge valves. The pump can handle flow rates up to 80GPM and up to 45 TDH. These pumps feature a special tear-drop locking design that allows the operator to quickly remove the pump core for service while the pump body stays connected to the piping system. Just loosen the four mounting bolts, turn the pump motor slightly and lift it out of the body for service. Spillage of the process media is eliminated because the pump body stays connected to the piping system.

The new T Series Webster by Hayward thermoplastic pump features a single, non-coupled motor/impeller shaft with a proprietary patent-pending shaft seal. Compared to a pump with a coupled shaft and o-ring seal, the T Series design combines the multiple components into one thereby reducing the possibility of failure by components.The new shaft seal is made from PTFE allowing greater chemical compatibility and less wear due to degradation over time that would reduce pump performance. The shaft sleeve has also been extended to move the seal point up and away from the weep hole protecting the metal shaft as well as centralizing the sleeve. The new T Series is offered in CPVC as standard for the pump head assembly, with GFPP and PVDF as optional materials.
